After serving the blogging community by providing free space and CMS for millions of bloggers, and still making monet, google has finally thought that it is time to make some money from blogger.
Blogger platform is the widely chosen platform for starters, and is even preferred to when it comes to wordpress, due to space and ad restrictions. Google did turn these bloggers into potential adsense users, which made a great user base, but more and more bloggers turned to professional blogging platforms like wordpress platform.
The potential user base did not convince google to continue offering free space and now google has decided to spice up the user panel with advertisements. Blogger now has advertisements served to the users, instead of the readers directly.
